Why not just use JobLogic, Commusoft, or another off-the-shelf tool?
Those are good products built for the average contractor. If your business fits their mould exactly, they work. If your job workflow, terminology, or team structure doesn't fit the standard template — and many don't — you spend months working around it and eventually give up. What we build is configured specifically to how you work, not the other way round. And you own it — no subscription, no price increases, no features retired without warning.
How does the price compare to an off-the-shelf subscription?
A typical job management SaaS costs £300–400 a month. After two years you've spent £7,200–9,600 and still don't own anything. Our Foundation System is a one-off cost. After the first couple of years you're saving money every month, indefinitely. More importantly, one quoted job followed up because the system flagged it — rather than sitting forgotten in an email thread — typically covers the cost inside the first month.
We tried software before and the team didn't use it. Why would this be different?
Usually because it didn't match how they actually worked. When a system uses your terminology, your job stages, and your workflow, adoption is dramatically easier. Your team isn't learning software — they're using a digital version of what they already do. We also do a proper handover session with the whole team, not just send a video link.
What if I need changes after go-live?
That's what the monthly retainer is for. It covers hosting, support, and a development allowance for additions. You're not stuck with what was built on day one. Changes outside the retainer allowance are scoped and priced separately, always agreed before work starts.
Do I need an IT department to manage this?
No. We handle the technical setup, hosting, and ongoing maintenance. You need Office 365 access, a domain or subdomain, and one person who can review the system during delivery. That's it. If you can use a smartphone, you can use the system.
What's the Discovery Session and why do I need to pay for it?
It's 90 minutes where we map your business in detail — how jobs come in, how your team works, what's breaking, what you actually need. At the end you get a written scope with a fixed price. It's paid because it's a serious piece of work, not a sales call. If you proceed, that cost comes off the project fee. If you don't, you leave with a clear picture of what your operation needs.
We use Office 365 and SharePoint already. Will this work alongside it?
Yes — and it connects to it directly. We integrate with your Office 365 mailbox via Microsoft Graph API so incoming emails can automatically create job records. You keep using Outlook exactly as you do now. The system reads the emails and does the data entry for you.
